Food. Okay now that I have your attention (it works every time with college students) I want to tell you about this AWESOME event we just got back from yesterday. It is called, The Taste of Perry. What is the Taste of Perry you might ask? Imagine, a one stop shop for EVERYTHING you want for prom season, now add about 10 different food vendors handing out samples by the plateful. We’re not talking your typical sample snack foods either. For example, Chipotle was giving out whole burritos, then only feet away you could get a huge cup of Jamba Juice. Sounds delicious? Well, I haven’t even mentioned the best part yet. Arizona Pro DJs was the featured (actually the only, I guess that’s how good we are) music entertainment vendor. Pretty awesome right? Enjoying amazing food, and listening to Arizona Pro DJs, there is NOTHING BETTER.
Perry High School’s parent organization put on the entire event at the high school and featured some food vendors such as:
- Panda Express
- Chipotle
- La Casa Blanca
- Red Brick Pizza
- Rubio’s
- Jimmy’s of Chicago
- Native New Yorker
- NYPD Pizza
- Red, White and Brew
- Village Inn
- McDonalds (yes, the fast food guys)
- Chic-fil-a
- Cathy’s Rum Cake
- and more!
On top of all the amazing food, they featured some of the best in non-food vendors for prom planning including:
- Twirl Boutique
- Brunswick Zone Bowling
- Dr. Bates Chiropractic
- Phoenix Teen Events & Celebrations Magazine (one of our favorites!)
- Largo Photography (one of our favorites!)
- Green Screen Entertainment (one of our favorites!)
- and of course, Arizona Pro DJs
Sounds like a lot right? Well it was, and it was a HUGE success! Raising money for the first senior classes’ graduation night, the entire event raised an enormous amount of money for the class and they are sure their graduation night will be a success. Thank you to everyone who was a part of this event and we hope if you miss it this year, you will certainly be there next!
