Kellis High School gets KRAZY

For the first, and certainly not the last, time ever Arizona Pro DJs rocked out with Raymond S. Kellis High school for their new and improved Winter Formal. The dance was held in the school’s gym that was frosted with decorations. The tables were set with lanterns to create a Winter Wonderland atmosphere.
All the way till the very last song, the dance floor was packed. The students of Kellis were pumped up by DJ Will See and went Krazy for every minute of the dance. Their energy moved from the dance floor to the bleachers during the YMCA where you could find all of the students performing for us! The dance ended with the traditional song Krazy and left the students begging more an encore! Don’t worry, we will be back soon to rock out with Raymond S. Kellis!

Beware of Falling Snow Flakes!

It is starting to get cold in Arizona, but things are just heating up with Arizona Pro DJs. This past weekend Arizona Pro DJs rocked Red Mountain High School’s winter formal dance. The dance was held in Red Mountain High School’s gym where the decorations were flawless. Upon entering the gym, each student was greeted into a winter wonderland complete with falling snowflakes and sparkling ice-cycle lights. While some students’ excitement led them straight to the ‘sweets’ snack bar, others did not hesitate to hit the dance floor and get down to DJ Will See’s live mix.

Yum! Taste of Perry

Taste of PerryFood. Okay now that I have your attention (it works every time with college students) I want to tell you about this AWESOME event we just got back from yesterday. It is called, The Taste of Perry. What is the Taste of Perry you might ask? Imagine, a one stop shop for EVERYTHING you want for prom season, now add about 10 different food vendors handing out samples by the plateful. We’re not talking your typical sample snack foods either. For example, Chipotle was giving out whole burritos, then only feet away you could get a huge cup of Jamba Juice. Sounds delicious? Well, I haven’t even mentioned the best part yet. Arizona Pro DJs was the featured (actually the only, I guess that’s how good we are) music entertainment vendor. Pretty awesome right? Enjoying amazing food, and listening to Arizona Pro DJs, there is NOTHING BETTER. Continue reading ‘Yum! Taste of Perry’

Students Support Brain Tumor Research

Now that’s a tongue twister. Don’t let the tongue twisting title of this organization fool you, it is no joke. They raised over a million dollars at their walk this past Saturday at Arizona State University, and had hundreds, if not thousands walking in the name of Brain Tumor Research.

According to their awesome website, www.SSBTR.org, “Within the next 12 months, over 200,000 people in the U.S.A. will be diagnosed with a primary or metastatic brain tumor.” and “Brain tumors are the leading cause of solid tumor cancer deaths in children through high-school age.” Luckily, Steve Glassman, an advisor at Pinnacle High School, had the heart to start this amazing charity and begin raising millions of dollars in the name of brain tumor research.

Naturally, upon planning this year’s walk the question posed by the group was, “How are we going to energize these thousands of people walking around campus on a early Saturday afternoon?” and we answered with an energetic “We can do it!”. Continue reading ‘Students Support Brain Tumor Research’

ASU Undie Run 2009

530391083_vemua-m-5 How often do your hear the words underwear, and charity in the same sentence? In the case of the Arizona State University’s 2009 Undie Run, you’ll hear it quite a lot. In 2008, Rubin Green a bunch of his friends decided to hold an event on the day before finals declared the Undie Run. At this event, the students were asked to strip down to their undies, and run around campus. Pretty simple right? Until about 5,000 people showed up, and now what are you to do with 5,000 pieces of clothing? What other than to donate it all to charity. Continue reading ‘ASU Undie Run 2009′

Challenge Air for Kids & Friends

“No matter the disability, we forget about all that today, and show these kids what they can do and let them fly a plane.”

Today, we experienced one of the most touching events that we have, well, ever experienced. The event was titled “Challenge Air for Kids & Friends”, and we were asked by one of the staff members to come out and play for all of the people that came today, and it was most definitely an honor. We had an absolutely amazing time! Continue reading ‘Challenge Air for Kids & Friends’
